Anna was first attracted to architecture because it blends making and art.
Every project presents a new opportunity to explore space making. Anna favors simple design solutions that have a twist of the unexpected; fun, yet considered, making the space feel right, and real.
Together with her husband, Anna spent the last five years tearing down and rebuilding her family's 1950s home. She believes that wearing a tool belt and knowing how to operate power tools makes her a better Architect and detailer.
Outside of the office, Anna finds other outlets for her creativity. When she couldn't find a cool baby gate for her toddler daughter, Linnea, she decided to —just make one! Knitting and sewing while others sleep gives Anna more opportunities to blend making and art.
She has a master in Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, is licensed in the State of Washington and is LEED accredited.
